Bell 412 helicopters are chameleons in the hands of the New South Wales Rural Fire Service and Coulson Aviation Australia.
The NSW RFS-owned helicopters are multi-role, with the ability to be used in flood rescue and cargo carrying, as well as in aerial firefighting. The Bells were also part of the NSW RFS night fire bombing trial using a Coulson Chinook over the Australian summer.
Coulson Aviation Australia manages and operates two Bell 412 helicopters on behalf of NSW RFS.
